“and let me feel it” is the only part of this song that raises my eyebrow. First, some people don’t think they’re close to God unless they feel tingles. Second, it’s not like God has us in numb mode or allows us to feel, as if He controls our feelings and our choices. This is similar to what Misty says in her song, “Let Me Love You More”, as if God only lets us love Him to a certain amount.
