2Peter 2:3-6 – “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:”

There are certain parts of the song that are perhaps unbiblical…

1) There’s no record of Noah or the people around him interacting with each other in the bible. I’m not saying it didn’t happen, but there’s nothing to support that it did happen, so why teach it?

2) The bible doesn’t say “it never rained before Noah built the ark”. What it does say was, “And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground” (Gen 2:5-6).

The bible does talk about clouds when God created the earth (Job 38:4-9, Job 38:25-30, Proverbs 8:27-29, etc). Clouds ARE rain, and if clouds were made around the time God made the earth, then IT DID RAIN, just not during the 6 days of creation.
